Wencon

Wencon is a globally operating company, founded in 1984 in Denmark, with over 30 years of experience and expertise. Wencon specializes in solutions for the rebuilding, protection, and life extension of metals exposed to corrosion, galvanic corrosion, cavitation, wear, or breakage.

Wencon products are designed to be easy to mix and apply, with minimal product waste and a high success rate. They are ideal for addressing malfunctions caused by corrosion or abrasion in vital machine parts, particularly around ships. These products can also be applied and cure underwater.

REPAIR WENCON PRODUCTS

WENCON PUTTY

Wencon Putty is a fast-curing, two-component epoxy compound supplied in a practical stick format, making it easy to use. This versatile epoxy paste is perfect for emergency repairs requiring quick curing and moldability.

WENCON PIPE TAPE

Wencon Pipe Tape is a fast-curing pipe repair bandage formulated for quick and effective repairs of cracks, leaks, fractures, and corrosion in pipes carrying water, oil, steam, most gases, and solvents. It is a pre-impregnated fiberglass bandage that activates after soaking in water for 10 seconds. Within 10 minutes, the bandage hardens, and the pipe can usually be reactivated. Full curing occurs within one hour.

WENCON EXHAUST REPAIR KIT

The Wencon Exhaust Repair Kit is a one-component steel cold weld product that repairs cracks and holes in equipment exposed to temperatures up to 1300°C (2400°F). Typical applications include engine heads, blocks, manifolds, furnaces, and boilers. It is especially useful where traditional heat welding is not possible.

WENCON UW PUTTY

Wencon UW Putty is a two-component compound that can be applied to wet surfaces or underwater. It is excellent for filling holes, dents, and rebuilding surfaces that must be repaired in wet conditions. The putty is also suitable for filling gaps and holes underwater or on wet surfaces, and can be finished with Wencon UW Cream or UW Coating.

WENCON RAPID

Wencon Rapid is a fast-curing, two-component epoxy compound with a wide range of applications for emergency repairs and maintenance. It is especially useful when a short curing time is necessary to reduce downtime.

WENCON CREAM

Wencon Cream is a basic two-component epoxy compound for repairing and rebuilding worn, damaged, cracked, or corroded metal parts. It has many of the characteristics of metals, and its excellent adhesion to metallic surfaces makes it ideal for repairing corroded and worn metals.

WENCON CERAMIC CREAM

Wencon Ceramic Cream is a two-component epoxy compound for repairing and rebuilding worn, damaged, cracked, or corroded metal parts. It has high abrasion resistance, making it suitable for applications such as propeller nozzles, rudders, thruster tunnels, and housings.

WENCON UW CREAM

Wencon UW Cream is a two-component cream that can be applied to wet surfaces or underwater. It is excellent for filling holes, dents, and rebuilding surfaces that must be repaired in wet conditions. Typical applications include corroded hulls, underwater parts of ships, tanks, pipes, and flange faces. It is also ideal for repairing cavitation damage on hulls and rudders. Once cured, Wencon UW Cream is resistant to oil, saltwater, water, most diluted acids, and many solvents.

Wencon Coating is a two-component liquid epoxy coating that provides a smooth, non-porous surface resistant to bi-metallic corrosion, light chemical aggression, erosion, and impingement. Typical applications include coating rebuilt surfaces to prevent corrosion, and protection for tanks, pumps, valves, wet liners, cooler end covers, and more.

Wencon Hi-Temp is a high-performance two-component liquid epoxy coating designed for high-load areas. It provides a smooth, non-porous surface resistant to high temperatures, light chemical aggression, wear, and bi-metallic corrosion.

WENCON CERAMIC COATING

Wencon Ceramic Coating is a two-component liquid epoxy coating that provides a smooth, non-porous surface resistant to bi-metallic corrosion, light chemical aggression, corrosion, erosion, and impingement. With high abrasion resistance, it is ideal for propeller nozzles, rudders, thruster tunnels, and housings. This coating also offers high-temperature resistance, making it suitable for applications on gas scrubbers, condensers, and end covers.

WENCON UW COATING

Wencon UW Coating is a two-component product applied to wet surfaces or underwater. It is ideal for the repair of ballast and cooling pipes, especially when combined with interchanging layers of Wencon reinforcement tape. This product is perfect for repair jobs that must be completed in wet conditions.
