SusTunTech meeting
On the 27th and 28th of February, Zephyr Group attended the SusTunTech meeting in La Spezia, to discuss the SusTunTech project. They were two very intense and profitable days, aimed at updating the project and its activities. On first day, with the whole consortium, it was discussed the work progress of the project and on the second day its products were presented: SmartMarineView from MarineInstruments, Ratatosk 2.0 from Sintef and MarPrimePlus from Maridis. These products offer a compact and cost-effective system to improve the energy efficiency of tuna fishing vessels by at least a 25% compared to current practices. The goal is to increase the sustainability of tuna fishing and also reducing the emissions of marine engine in the shipping and power plant industry.
